Central Heating
Help And Advice:
What
Is
Central
Heating?
Heating From A Central Source:
Most modern central heating
systems use water as the means to transport heat from the
boiler to all areas to be heated.
A central heating boiler is
actually more of a heat generator (as the water is not boiled)
although some central heating system boilers can reach 100C
and above, the normal running temperature is arounf 78C.
Although many people still see
central heating as a luxury, it is extremely inexpensive in
comparison to the money that can be saved on bills (especially
when using electric fires or plug in radiators). Even the
romans had central heating in the form of an open fire under
the floor, the heat from the fire was channelled through large
ducts supplying an ancient form of under floor heating.
With ICI Caldaie there is no
such thing as a standard central heating system, all systems
can be tailored to meet the individual need of the client,
central heating systems when installed correctly and adequately
inspected will completely look after themselves, automatically
switching on and off ensuring that your home is at the perfect
temperature whilst saving you heating bills during the hours
when you specify that no heating is required.
Central heating systems from
ICI caldaie use no more fuel than is needed and can provide
instant hot water when you need it.
It is a proven fact that houses
with central heating are cheaper to run than houses with any
other form of heating. Even just one fire can work out more
expensive to run than a well designed central heating system
with apropriate controls.
